Mercy Track & Field had a strong showing at the CHSL Championships, finishing second overall with 165 points.
The Marlins were led by the record breaking 4x800 relay team of Ainslie Carter '28, Libby Gerzema '28, Nora Gerzema '26, and Clare Hafner '26, who finished first while breaking both the CHSL and Mercy school records.
Nora Gerzema '26 also captured her fourth consecutive CHSL title in the 1600 meter run. In the 800 meter run, Gerzema placed second, Libby Gerzema '28 finished third, and Ainslie Carter '28 added a fifth place finish.
Freshman Maggie Kandt '29 won the shot put and finished second in discus. Khloe Duneske '27 placed third in shot put, while Caroline Kulaga '27 added a fifth place finish in discus.
Emily Cuthbertson '26 and JJ Lukas '29 tied for first in the high jump. Lukas also won the 100 meter hurdles and finished second in the 300 hurdles.
Lila Erfurt '29 placed second in the 400 meter dash, with Jenna Buchan '26 finishing fourth. Mercy's 4x100 relay team of JJ Lukas '29, Lila Young '28, Nyla Rozzell '29, and Emily Cuthbertson '26 finished second overall.
In the 3200 meter run, Clare Hafner '26 placed second and Grace Bedner '26 finished fifth.
