Mercy Volleyball captured its 10th MHSAA Regional title—and first since 2023—with a straight-set sweep over South Lyon. The Marlins took the match 25-18, 25-20, 25-18 to punch their ticket to the state quarterfinals.
Kate Kalczynski '27 led the offense with 18 kills, while Ella Andrews '26 added 8 kills and anchored the net defensively with 4 blocks. Cree Hollier '26 had a strong all-around performance, contributing 9 kills and 11 digs.
McKenzie Andrews '28 and Cydnee Speights '28 each added 3 blocks and 3 kills, helping Mercy control play at the net.
Defensively, Maya Zarow '26 paced the team with 21 digs. Setter Kaelyn Easton '29 directed the offense with 35 assists and added 11 digs of her own.
Mercy will face Trenton in the MHSAA Quarterfinals on Tuesday night at 7:00 PM at Hartland High School.
