The Marlins triumphed in the first game with a 15-0 victory over Waterford Mott in four innings, securing their place in the MHSAA Regional Championship. Facing Livonia Franklin in the final, Mercy won decisively with an 11-0 score in five innings, capturing their first MHSAA Regional title since 2022.

With an impressive 34-1 record, the Marlins are set to face a familiar rival, Allen Park, in the MHSAA Softball State Quarterfinals on Tuesday, June 11, at 6:00 PM. The game will take place at Wayne State University
