Class of 2025 standout Kaitlyn Pallozzi has been named the Gatorade Michigan Softball Player of the Year, recognizing her dominance on the field and leadership off it.
Pallozzi led the Marlins to a stellar 26–2 record, finishing the season 23–0 in the circle with a microscopic 0.14 ERA. She struck out 351 batters, walked only 26, and averaged 2.4 strikeouts per inning.
At the plate, she was just as dangerous—batting .460 with four home runs, 18 RBI, and an impressive 1.345 OPS. Pallozzi is currently ranked the No. 5 prospect in the Class of 2025 by Extra Innings Softball.
Off the field, she embodied Mercy's values through her volunteer work with Miracle Network and PBJ Outreach.
Pallozzi is committed to the University of Alabama, where she will continue her academic and athletic career at one of the nation's premier softball programs.
