Mercy Varsity Softball captured its fifth consecutive CHSL Championship with a 5–0 win over Divine Child, continuing a dominant run in league play.

Senior ace Kaitlyn Pallozzi was nearly untouchable in the circle, striking out 16 batters to lead the Marlins to the shutout victory. Pallozzi, ranked the No. 4 pitcher in the nation, once again proved why she's among the elite. She is committed to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama.

The win marks another milestone for Mercy's decorated program and adds to an impressive legacy built on consistent excellence and standout performances. 

Mercy Softball will begin their MHSAA state championship quest at MHSAA Districts beginning Saturday, May 31 at Mercy High School.
