Brittany Wenson is the Head Varsity Dance Team Coach at Mercy High School, bringing over seven years of coaching experience to the role. A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Brittany has been passionate about dance since high school, having started her teaching career in 2009. She has worked with dancers of all ages, from recreational students to competitive dancers, and has continuously dedicated herself to helping her athletes grow in both technique and character. Under her leadership, the Mercy Varsity Dance Team has achieved remarkable success, including being named UDA National Finalists in the 2024-2025 season, placing 8th and 12th in the nation, as well as earning UDA National Semi-Finalist titles in both the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons. Additionally, the team has been crowned Catholic League Champions five times. Brittany’s commitment to excellence and her extensive background in dance and coaching have helped her build a program that fosters teamwork, discipline, and a love of dance in all of her athletes.
