Brandon Malinowski

Brandon Malinowski is in his fourth year as the Athletic Director at Mercy High School. With a deep-rooted passion for Catholic education, Brandon brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role. Prior to his current position, he spent nine years as the Catholic High School League (CHSL) Athletic Coordinator, where he played a key role in shaping the league’s athletic programs.

A proud 2007 graduate of Riverview Gabriel Richard Catholic High School, Brandon continued his academic journey at Madonna University, earning his Bachelor's degree in Athletic Administration in 2012.

Brandon's commitment to Mercy High School extends beyond administration. He served as the Varsity Ice Hockey coach for three years, leading the team to its first-ever state championship in 2013. He has also been an integral part of the Varsity Softball staff for over 12 years, contributing to the development of student-athletes and the growth of the program.

Since becoming Mercy’s Athletic Director in 2021, Brandon has been instrumental in the success of the school’s athletic programs, contributing to six state championships and multiple regional, district, and Catholic League championships. His leadership and expertise have helped elevate Mercy’s athletics to new heights.

A proud member of the Catholic League Executive Board, the Catholic League Hall of Fame Committee, and having served as the Catholic League Women’s Coaches Association President for four years, Brandon’s influence extends beyond Mercy High School. In 2024, he was honored as the CHSL Athletic Director of the Year and earned his Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) designation from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) in 2025.

Brandon and his wife, Christine, are the proud parents of four children and are active members of St. Pius Catholic Church. Brandon is also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, further exemplifying his commitment to his faith and community.

Brandon remains a dedicated advocate for Catholic education, committed to ensuring that Mercy High School’s athletic programs continue to thrive, providing student-athletes with opportunities to excel both on and off the field.
