Graduate of Michigan State University. Married for 26 years to wife Kathy. Two daughters (Callie and Nikki). Daughter Nikki is the senior captain of the Denison University swim team (2023 NCAA Division 3 national champions).
My mother Rose Marie Barnas (Mastey) graduated from Mercy High School in the mid-1950’s.
Journalism and Communications major from Michigan State University. Did radio play-by-play broadcasting for MSU hockey and other sports during my time on campus (in the 1980s!) and also did some work for the Sports Information office. Go State!
