Mercy Tennis clinched third place at the MHSAA Division 2 Tennis State Championship this weekend, finishing just one point behind Birmingham Seaholm. Gabby Owens '26 triumphed as the Individual State Champion in Singles 4. Megan Sullivan '25 and Keira Kirkland '26 were State Champion Runners-Up in their Singles flights, while Penelope Livermore '25 and Reese Sinawi '25 earned the State Champion Runners-Up title in Doubles. Owens dominated her matches, winning all four in straight sets to claim the Singles 4 State Championship.

As Regional Tennis Champions, Mercy qualified four singles players—Megan Sullivan, Keira Kirkland, Alexa Dueweke, and Gabby Owens—and three doubles teams: Sophia Bishop & Diana Quinn, Mallory Cooney & Julia Holt, and Rafi Sherman & Victoria Hunter.
